Finally, I got the buds attached to the "Rosebud" Hat - now I've started some matching booties. This photo makes the flowers look enormous but actually, the bouquet is quite in proportion.
I've started a pair of Saartje's Bootees with the remaining yarn. They are very popular on Ravelry!

The "aaahh" factor of that hat is over the top. Someone is going to be stylin'.
BTW, those are bricks that we use in the edging. They are kind of a pain to install but look so much nicer than plastic edging. Hubby and I tag team the gardening projects. We both do it all - except mowing. That's hubby's domain!
Mowing? What mowing - I am agitating for more of the full patio look!
