On to the hats

I picked up two skeins of this yarn, Debbie Bliss Rialto Aran, to combine with my Schoeller + Stahl Elfin for the Holding Hands, Feeding Ducks Hat. It is so soft and the combination is lovely.



I am using the needle size mentioned in the pattern - very rare for me as I am a lazy/relaxed knitter! - but in a circular needle. Maybe when I start decreasing, I'll switch to double points.



And finally, one sad photograph of my sad 7x9 rectangle for the MKG's A Square for the Fair charity knitting project. Right now, they are just starting to collect sample some but the Guild is going start handing out patterns and collecting squares in earnest in January. Hopefully, my skills will improve by then!
